JULIE WILMONT

Julie joined the practice in 2016 having worked in dentistry for 20 years she brought a wealth of knowledge, but our patients and team benefit most from her warm and caring nature

Julie is a qualified dental nurse holding her NEBDN diploma, she also has a NEBDN certificate in oral health education. Julie’s role at Moira Cosmetic Dental is that of ‘treatment coordinator’.

This role is to support our dentists in treatment planning, delivering treatment plans and producing and delivering both documents and face-to-face meetings with patients regarding treatment consent and understanding. Julie takes all our clinical photographs and can provide verifiable training to other team members for clinical photography.

She supports new patients, meeting with them and helping them through the treatment process, she is the go-to person at the practice when it comes to membership and finance inquiries. Julie’s personality puts nervous patients straight at ease and she especially enjoys helping nervous patients meet their treatment goals.

Julie is currently studying towards a Diploma in hypnotherapy, something she hopes to use in practice to help nervous patients. Julie has recently completed a mental health first aid course which she can use when dealing with patients but is also the dedicated mental health first aide for the team.

Outside of work Julie is a ‘football mum’, a ‘dog mum’ and a ‘cool aunt’.
